Hollywood, California - Veteran film Producer Brad Wilson who has been presenting faith based acting workshops across the country has announced the launch of HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA.

The mission of HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA is to continue, after 25 years of making films in Hollywood, to elevate entertainment in positive ways and in various forms including film, radio, television, music, as well as our dynamic acting workshops. HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA seeks to express what is good within each of us and in our shared experience of life in hopes of elevating the human spirit.

Mr. Wilson will continue to hold workshops across the country while at the same time HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA will be working closely with church drama departments for one-on-one training in film making.

HIGHER PURPOSE MEDIA will not only focus on "on screen" training but the entire business of film as well as radio, television, music and everything media related, to help guide others to the positive side of the entertainment business.

Brad Wilson's films have won awards at the Berlin Film festival, The America Cinema Foundation, The Chicago Film Critics Association, Emden International Film festival, Nederlands Film festival, Westchester New York International Film festival. Stony Brook Film festival and the Santa Clarita International Film Festival.

Mr. Wilson, along with his business partners at POWER IN FAITH, a Los Angeles faith based film and TV Production Company, produce the "BELIEVERS AMONG US" faith based TV drama series which has won two prestigious Telly Awards, the Aurora Award, two Davey Awards and the Millennium Award. Their latest film release "SET APART" has just been released by PROVIDENT FILMS ("FACING THE GIANTS," "FIREPROOF") and has already won Five Dove Awards, the most given by the Dove Foundation. It has also won the best drama film prize at the Creation Arts Festival in Edmonton, Canada, one of the most important in the faith based arena. "SET APART" has won Feature Film Competition at the Bayou City Inspirational Film Festival in Houston as well.
